I am Miriam Bernstein, a REALTOR® with REMAX N.O. Properties in Uptown New Orleans, a wife and a New Orleans transplant. I wanted to create a site where it was simple enough for people to find properties in New Orleans’ many communities and learn about the process of buying or selling a home.
Providing you with good information and advice, after selling real estate for 20 years, I probably could fill a thick volume or two with thoughts and opinions on all things real estate.
As for anything else of interest – I moved here with my husband from New York, where I had spent most of my life. The change of pace has been good, and we’ve been inhaling deeply this city’s energy, its vibe or any of the cheesy clichéd thing that won’t do Crescent City justice. When we are not working, which is not often, we embark on long walks with our adorable dog, Max, and actively search for yet another reason to love our new home.
I have been a Real Estate Broker for the past 20 years, 17 of them in New York State where I am still licensed. Over the past 20 years I have obtained many designations because I believe in taking classes and constantly learning about my full time and all consuming profession that is selling real estate. I have earned:
- Certified Residential Specialist which is held by about 5% of Realtors® around the country and you have to document production as well as take advanced courses in Financing, Marketing, Representing Buyers and Sellers. That is the CRS after my name.
