If you are a buyer and are searching for properties you may be confused about all of the websites out there and the information on them. As an example I have a listing at 4301 Fontainebleau Drive, New Orleans, LA. If you are looking for the listing agent for some reason (not sure why you would be) the agent next to the listing is not necessarily the listing agent. Sometimes it is and sometimes it isn’t.
If you search on a site by the name of Zillow this is what you will find. There are 4 agents next to this property. Three have testimonials and one does not. Having or not having reviews is meaningless. Agents ask friends and relatives for reviews and some are real and some are not. Agents without reviews are not engaged in advertising on Zillow, some of us have philosophical issues with this type of site which has a lot of incorrect information.
The same property on Trulia. Trulia does not tell you who you will be contacting however it is the agent who has paid them to receive your contact information because you are a “lead” and are valuable…
And from Realtor.com the requests for information will go to any agent who pays for the “lead” meaning you.
So should you be looking for the listing agent as you go around the web or should you be looking for a trained and experienced buyer’s agent to guide you? Someone who can inform you about all properties and represent you not the seller…..I am an:
