In real estate Craig’s List is a way to list properties for sale or rent and generally get some traffic and responses. The problem with the site are the trolls and hackers who steal your pictures and listing information. You can list a property for let’s $499,000, post some great pictures and the next thing you know what you posted has been stolen and your property is now available for $150,000 (or whatever). Loads of real estate brokers will no longer post to Craig’s list because of this.
But now a couple has figured out how to buy very expensive appliances for the new kitchen they want saving thousands of dollars. Takes a little patience and caution that what you are buying actually works however well worth it. Before meeting anyone from Craig’s list however make sure you vet them in some way either through social media or background checks…this young couple ended up with three refrigerators!
