When preparing to sell your home and fixing all those things your agent told you to fix and staging the home to display it in it’s best light don’t forget to stage the refrigerator. Buyer’s will look in your refrigerator. Odd assumptions can be made about who you are by what you eat. Refrigerator’s come almost empty for the professional who eats out all the time to foods in plastic containers neatly labeled and stacked.
But there was one aspect of the staging that I hadn’t taken into consideration: the return of several interested buyers for a second or third viewing, later in the week. It didn’t occur to me that I would have to maintain the charade that I was still using these props, er, products, possibly for weeks.
