Introduction

Whether you are a homebuyer, a buyer relocating to the New Orleans area or an owner planning to sell your property I can provide professional and experienced real estate advice and service. Serving the Parishes of Orleans and Jefferson and the many communities within New Orleans it is my goal to empower you with information, helping you make educated decisions about a transaction that will likely impact heavily on your future both emotionally and financially.

If you are planning on selling your home I provide internet savvy marketing from single property websites, syndication (don’t want to miss any buyers) to 20 years of negotiating sales and the expertise that goes along with that. As an Associate Broker with RE/MAX N.O. Properties as well as being a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and a real estate blogger for many years I am networked across the internet. My ethical obligation as your listing Broker would be to insure that every potential buyer is aware that your home is on the market, whether they are local or in the  far reaches of Maine or California. Buyers shop on line now and your home needs to be in front of them. They can not buy it if they don’t know it is on the market.

If you are a first time buyer you will find a lot of information on the internet and while you will be able to educate yourself on certain components of the buying process it may still be difficult to put the pieces in proper order and the nuances will not be apparent.  If you work with an experienced buyer’s agent they will be able to guide you step by step and look out for your interests in the negotiations. I am an Accredited Buyer’s Agent (ABR) and have many years of experience representing buyers.  If I am your agent I will not also represent a seller in the same transaction which is “dual agency”.

If you or any one you know is “upside down” on their mortgage meaning that you owe more on your mortgage than the property is worth, has lost a job, had an illness and find themselves in financial difficulty and don’t know what to do I am a Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE). Statistics tell us that 70% of homeowners who go to foreclosure never reviewed their options. Foreclosure should be the last resort. There is help available, please call me for a no cost, no obligation consultation. 504-908-2268.

Please feel free to use this site, read the blogs posts, community information and search for properties.  When you are ready you will be contacting me not a larger brokerage who will then assign you to an agent. I answer my phone, email’s go to my cell, you can text me. I am easy to reach.  If you want to see properties please give some notice – it isn’t always easy to just drop everything and take you to see properties; there are showing instructions for each property and sometimes those instructions include advance notice for a seller.  Day before, two days before even better.

2012 is my 20th year selling residential real estate and while I am still learning I have also learned through continually putting deals together over the years  how to get a deal done and to the closing table.  Some of the designations and certifications I have received coupled with selling hundreds of properties worth many millions or dollars gives me an expertise to assist both buyers and sellers.

Thank you for visiting and I look forward to hearing from you,
